Bill, CRC
Billy, one of Rivendell's first members, is a builder who has designed and contracted several developments of remarkable beauty. He is currently spending several days a week on rebuilding projects in New Orleans. Billy has particularly enjoyed tutoring at an elementary school which serves a mostly poor student body--the very school where he began kindergarten. He also writes poetry regularly. Billy lives at Emmaus House.
He writes, "There has been some great healing in me to return to this place from which I was "outward bound" for so long... I am grateful and believe it possible because of the demands and support of our community."
